PlantCare – Personalized Plant Care App
Overview
PlantCare is a mobile application designed to help users maintain healthy plants through personalized reminders and expert guidance.
Problem
Many plant owners struggle with inconsistent care routines and lack reliable information tailored to their specific plants.
My Role
Product Designer – UX Research, Wireframing, UI Design
Process
• Conducted user interviews to identify pain points
• Created user personas and journey maps
• Designed low-fidelity wireframes
• Built high-fidelity UI prototypes in Figma
• Conducted usability testing and iterated
Outcome
Designed an intuitive dashboard and reminder system that simplifies plant care management through structured information architecture and accessible UI components.
FLEXTOP – Expandable Study Table
Overview
FLEXTOP is an all-wood expandable study table designed for students living in compact spaces. The project focuses on adaptability, ergonomics, and spatial efficiency.
Problem Statement
Conventional study tables offer fixed surfaces that restrict multitasking and lead to clutter. Students often struggle to accommodate books, laptops, and materials simultaneously in small rooms.
Design Intent
The objective was to create a study table that adapts to the user rather than forcing the user to adapt to the furniture. The focus was on maintaining minimal aesthetics while integrating an expandable mechanism.
Mechanism
• Central fixed tabletop with rotating side panels
• Guided arc expansion for smooth movement
• Manual pivot hinge mechanism
• Angled leg structure for load distribution
• Concealed mechanical system to maintain clean form
Materials
Engineered plywood and solid wood ensuring durability, sustainability, and manufacturability.
User Feedback
Usability: 5/5
Space Efficiency: 5/5
Ergonomics: 4/5
Outcome
FLEXTOP successfully balances functionality and minimal aesthetics, providing a compact yet adaptable workspace suitable for modern student living.
Origami Refrigerator – Foldable Smart Appliance Concept
Overview
The Origami Refrigerator is a futuristic appliance inspired by geometric folding principles. The design merges artistic structure with functional modularity.
Concept Inspiration
Inspired by origami precision and cinematic storytelling, the refrigerator transforms from a closed geometric sculpture into a modular cooling system.
Key Features
• Faceted folding panels
• Modular temperature-controlled compartments
• Biometric access system
• Adaptive smart storage
• Visually expressive geometric form
Design Process
• Ideation sketches
• Iteration modeling
• Autodesk Alias surface modeling
• Visualization refinement
Outcome
The project reimagines refrigeration as an intelligent, sculptural centerpiece rather than a conventional household utility.
